42 stepper motor driver

The Amicro 42 closed-loop stepper driver utilizes Amicro’s latest high-performance System-on-Chip (SOC) designed for motor control development, along with advanced FOC (Field-Oriented Control) vector control and torque, velocity, and position three-loop closed-loop control algorithms. It completely overcomes the issues of step loss and response in open-loop stepper motors, significantly improving high-speed performance, acceleration/deceleration performance, reducing motor heating, and minimizing motor vibration.With a microstepping (subdivision) resolution of up to 1/256 steps, it achieves precise control and smooth, silent rotational motion. It features a comprehensive set of protection functions, including overcurrent and stall protection. The improved performance enhances the processing speed and accuracy of machines using this motor, while reducing energy consumption.Furthermore, in addition to the traditional Dir/Step control mode, it expands the control options by enabling precise motor control through UART bus communication, meeting the needs of a wider range of users. It is suitable for applications such as 3D printing, CNC engraving, PLC control, robotic arms, and small-scale racing cars. It also provides 5 GPIO (General Purpose Input/Output) configuration extension commands, allowing users to configure the input and output functions of the 5 GPIO pins on the board for LED displays, OLED displays, button inputs, and other functions.
